Collection of 5 cycling routes, discovering territories that unfold like butterfly wings around the Mincio

Cycling through the Morainic Hills
Garda-Hills Bike

Valeggio sul Mincio, nestled between the moraine hills and the Mincio River, south of Garda Lake, is the ideal starting point for discovering a fascinating area by bike. This historic village, known for its harmonious landscape and gastronomic traditions, is located in the center of an area where nature, culture, and history intertwine among vineyards, ancient villages, and rolling hills.

The collection of Garda-Hills Bike cycling itineraries accompanies the discovery of the Morenical Hills, shaped by the glaciers that gave rise to Lake Garda. The routes develop like the wings of a butterfly around the Mincio and start right from Valeggio, the strategic hub of the network. Through secondary roads, cycle paths and easy dirt roads you cycle through evocative landscapes and symbolic places of the area, such as the majestic Scaligeri Castle, the characteristic mills of Borghetto and the splendid Sigurtà Garden Park.

The itineraries also lead to nearby towns, to sites of great interest such as the Nicolis Museum in Villafranca, a destination for classic car enthusiasts, the Tower of San Martino della Battaglia, and the Custoza Ossuary, custodians of the memory of the Wars of Independence.

The five excursions, divided by difficulty, allow you to immerse yourself in a landscape rich in history and authentic flavors: from Tortellini di Valeggio to Bianco di Custoza DOC, to discover this area, pedal after pedal, in every season.
