The Trattoria Marisa e Elvio, managed since 1985 by the Bazzoli family, is located in the heart of the Valeggio sul Mincio countryside (Salionze area, Strada Oliosi): a quiet location surrounded by greenery, where you can relax and enjoy some typical Valèggian dishes, prepared with care by Mrs. Marisa and daughter Elisabetta.
The house specialties range from homemade cold cuts and pike in sauce, both accompanied by a soft and tasty polenta, to fresh homemade pasta, such as Nodo d'Amore and other tortelli stuffed with seasonal products (ricotta and spinach, pear and red radicchio, potato and Monteveronese) ... without of course forgetting the bigoli with duck sauce, tagliatelle with porcini and hare. As a second course, the menu offers: mixed grilled meat, Florentine grilled beef, green pepper, rosemary, roasted duck, guinea fowl and rabbit. In winter, game (wild boar, hare with polenta). To combine with your meal, a wide selection of local wines is available and to finish it off with delicious homemade desserts. It is possible to enjoy all this in the two internal rooms of the restaurant (also suitable for hosting groups, parties and banquets) and, in summer, on the cool outdoor terrace.
