BORGHETTO
Borghetto ows its charm to the harmonious relationship that both history and nature have been keeping, almost intact, throughout the centuries. The medieval atmosphere of the town is underlined by the Ghibelline blackbirds, by the bell tower of the little church of San Marco, by the wheels of the antique mills and by the rocks of the Visconteo bridge. Along the Mincio's banks one can spend pleasant days immersed in the tranquility and colors of one of the most amazing environments.

SAINT LUCIA
A community of Valeggio, noteworthy for being the location, along with Custoza, Solferino, S. Martino e Castiglione d/S, of resurging events which prompted bloody battles, rising from the summit of a hill, in the heart of the Doc of Custoza wine production. The traditional celebration of the Sacred Saint Eurosia is held on the first Sunday of May.

SALIONZE (www.salionze.it)
Among one of the most densely populated communities of the Municipality, Salionze is located half-way between Valeggio and Peschiera del Garda. Tradition tells that here, in 452 AD, the meeting between Attila, King of the Huns, and Pope Leone Magno took place. The Pope arrived from Rome to stop his devastating raids. Each year, in the middle of July, during the festival of Salionze there is a reenactment to commemorate the event. This important historical event is the basis for the twinning between Salionze and Bernalda, a municipality in the Metapontino, in the province of Matera which has, in fact, Saint Leone Magno as its patron saint.

VANONI REMELLI
The two unified villages of Vanoni and Remelli together make up the largest fraction of the municipality. Nearby passes the Postumia, the antique Roman road at the point in which it enters the territory of Verona. The modern parish of 1965 was dedicated to their patron Saint Giuseppe and it is celebrated on the 19th of March with a festival involving every inhabitant of the village.
